So I heard about this manga/anime after falling in love with the theme song Lonely in Gorgeous by TommyFebruary6 and I thought I'd give it a shot.
Although I would rate it higher subjectively, objectively I gave it this rating because it is very clearly a product of its time - both for better and worse. It has a 2000s sense of humour which can be charming (see: George and Arashi being dicks to each other) but also can be off-putting (e.g. Yukari constantly ragging on trans woman Isabella for being "a man in a dress"). Speaking of Isabella, I'm impressed by her inclusion as a trans woman but so far she has been extremely underutilised and I hope she gets her time in the spotlight later on (and for Yukari to stop being an ass to her even if it's in her internal monologue).
As for Yukari herself, she's what I would expect from a protagonist; though I do think she's rushing a bit too fast into her relationship with George.
Also the art style is a bit of a mixed bag, with some of the characters looking absolutely stunning one minute and then offputting like they're trying to hard to be pretty the next. Poor Miwako (who has the honor of being my favourite) seems to get the worst of it, and her puffy lips do not help her.
Despite all of my complaints, there is a certain je ne sais quoi that pulls me in and makes me want to know where the story will go.
