The Witch is Back is a wonderful sweet, flirty, and fun read! I really enjoyed the lighthearted story - a fun addition to any witchy season read!

I enjoyed parts of this and some of it had a lot of potential but equally a lot of it didn’t live up to that potential. The amount of miscommunication in this book is almost unpalatable. The characters are ok and at times shone. Their romance is believable, if a little underdeveloped. The side characters worked well. The pacing was off, with the end being rushed.

Yikes. I’m glad I finished it I guess. But it started out promising and then it’s like it lost the thread. Shallow, one dimensional characters; a lot of sexist tropes; a loose plot with very big plot holes.

I really enjoyed this one! The lack of communication was killing me at times but that’s normal. I liked that there were a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming. I liked the kind of “friends to dislike to friends to lovers” moment. I think the third act break up was a little exhausting but I did understand that it was needed for a little more character development. Surprisingly spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I really liked this book!
