I think this is kind of an important book to read that can help spread awareness for important issues in our time like climate change, and hopefully help to make some kids more aware of the environment around them. It was written well, and the characters are done pretty well. Not really predictable, overall a pretty good book. More of an adventure book, but kind of feels like a survival type of book. I enjoyed it, I would recommend for fans of adventure and survival books.

Interesting story about extinction and climate change. I would have liked to have known more about the wallers and fugees and how the split occurred. But I realize that this is a middle grade story and that the story of Kiri and the panthers is the point of the story. I'll be sure to pass this on to some young readers.

I'm still putting my thoughts together about this one. Think I'll save my full review for the podcast.

DNF.

I tried. It just wasn't for me and I have so many other books that I want to read right now...life is too short to spend it on books that don't grab you and hold you until the end.
