This is a really good series, so far. I am enjoying the characters, try the plot is taking some fun turns. I don't typically read alien-type books, but I wanted to try this set out. I may have to read more of them, if they are as interesting as this book was. I like Heather and Raj the least, which is probably how it is meant to be. I am really liking Cameron and Lila is growing on me. Looking forward to reading the next installment!

My only complaint about the first book in this series was that if you call your book invasion and its about an alien invasion then you need to meet the aliens in the first book. I just finished the 2nd book and while its a really good story you do not really meet the aliens in this either. You do at least know they are there, they talk about them so its an improvement. But not where it should be. Other than that it was as stories go a compelling story. Where the first book was a solid 4 stars I would give this 3 1/2 stars.

The second book lost it's special umpf for me somewhere in the middle. Book one was special with it's approach, this one however, is not. It is still interesting yes, but not fascinating.

After reading the first book of this series, i decided to read this one, i was hoping everyone would meet a horrible end, that maybe the aliens will end this family's miserable existence.
The characters are even more annoying in this book.
-The father is a cheating narcissist
-The x wife is a Jerk that slings insults and abuse at everyone but she is a comedian so it must be okay I guess
-The wife is a bimbo. She is only in charge because she is the least incompetent of those morons
-The daughter is a copy of her mum in her abusive selfish ways and a cheater like her dad
-The daughters boyfriend is an empty shell. He is only there complain and be abused.
-The son is horny for his step mum, and all of his lines in this entire book and the previous one are him confessing to that over and over
I will not read further. Obviously there is nothing of value to extract from this work, It's just a reminder that if humanity goes out the world will probably be a better place
