If you’d have asked me at the halfway mark what my rating was then it was going to be 4 stars, but the ending entirely ruined it for me. The characters really started to grate on me, and the twist was pretty ridiculous. I love Holly Jackson and will always pick up anything she writes, but this was a bit of a miss for me.

6 friends driving an rv across the country but then being sniped and trapped in the rv? wow, this book was.. interesting. and intense. however, after like the first third it just got boring? i did not feel the need to continue because absolutely nothing happend. i felt so bored and disappointed. anyways after that it got a lot better because HOLY FUCK. it was so intense but stupid and tragic and awesomely written. ending was a but disappointing tho i wish there could’ve been some less violent ending lol

As much as I loved Jackson's other books, this one didn't hit the mark. This may be because of my listening to the audiobook version. I couldn't stand the narrator for the audiobook on this one, which contributed to my lack of enjoyment of the overall book. The story also tended to drag at certain parts, and I found Red to be an annoying and unlikable protagonist.

What a wild ride! Chapters 20 until the end was just fast pace endless drama. Oliver, oh Oliver…he was terrible and unbearable to read in the end. Everything was written in this book with intention and led to a suspenseful wild ending. I did feel like the last 2 chapters were rushed and was maybe written differently than the rest of the book.
