Stina Lindenblatt is a new to me author and after starting this book I immediately picked up the rest of the series! While this book is number 6 it can be read as a complete standalone.

Kiera and Logan met in college, they were friends and Logan was also best friends with Kiera’s deceased husband. The have a complicated history together, however, one night completely changed it all for them.

I loved Kiera and Logan’s relationship. I love that he was there for her and that he was supportive. However, at times they both frustrated me beyond belief because they were both keeping pretty big things from each other and I just wanted them to get it out there and move on. These two had loads of chemistry, though.

This story takes you on a journey. You feel for Kiera after learning she is a widow and is finally taking the step to move on after losing her husband, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll swoon and you’ll fall in love with the story. The moment I started reading I couldn’t put it down!

If you’re looking for a surprise baby, friends to lovers, hockey romance this is one to check out!

4 stars … Decidedly with Luck (By the Bay 6) is a one-night stand, single dad romantic comedy told from the first-person point of view of Logan and Kiera.

Logan and Kiera met in college where they became great friends. Logan was Kiera's deceased husband's best friend and after one mysterious night together, at the masquerade ball, their lives changed forever.

Logan and Kiera's story was fun and secretive. I loved that they were able to grow their friendship back to the way it was in college. They both bugged me that they kept holding back their biggest secrets but they did back themselves into corners that were hard to get out of. Their connection was great and there were many swoony moments. Decidedly with Luck can be read as a complete standalone but I highly recommend the whole series.

Audio … Again, Tim Paige and Isabelle Ruther have done a great job with both the characters and story. They are the perfect pair for the whole By the Bay series.

Decidedly with Luck was the light easy read I was hoping for. With a swoon worthy male lead and a slightly nerdy, quirky female counterpart, I very much fell in love with Logan and Kiera and their story of a second chance at love. Single dads always get me with the feels and Logan was no different. I loved how Stina showed Logan’s relationships with both Kiera and Stacy. I think doing so helped show that not every relationship is the same and that it just takes the right person to make you feel the right things and fall in love

Stina Lindenblatt is a new to me author, so I've come fashionably late to the By the Bay series party! I loved this fun, easy, romantic comedy. It was both heartfelt and and hilarious.

I really enjoyed this story, and while I haven’t read all of the books in series I will going back and catch up ASAP. I can’t wait for the next installment from Stina Lindenblatt.

I love when I take a chance on a book that might be book six in a series, and I fall in love. Then I absolutely have to go back and binge read all the other books in the series. Also if you listen to my podcast you know I swoon over surprise/secret baby romances. This is one of those books where a girl goes to a masquerade party, and this girl wants her first time after the death of her husband to be with a stranger. With some twists and turns this is surely a book you don’t want to miss. I really enjoyed this read, and I can’t wait to check out more books by Stina. So be sure to add this book to your TBR GoodReads lists.

I received an ARC of this book and it knocked my socks off! It was a book I had a hard time putting down (probably not the best book to try to read over the holidays).

This story is a continuation of the short story from the Jingle Balls Ball about Kiera and Grayson. They have a one night stand with an unexpected outcome which is just the beginning! There are so many twists and turns on the way to Kiera’s happily ever after.

A great second chance at love which I guarantee you won’t regret reading!

"Decidedly with Luck" by Stina Lindenblatt had me hooked from the very first page, and I read the entire book in a single evening even though it meant staying up well past my bedtime. (For the record, I regret nothing.) Main characters Kiera Ashdown and Logan Mathews were both quite likeable and sympathetic, and even though they each made mistakes along the way, I found it very easy to understand the reasons behind the choices they made.

The book's secondary characters were every bit as endearing as Logan and Kiera and added a tremendous amount of depth and humor to the story. I particularly liked Logan's ex-wife Stacy, who was so nice and became a good friend to both Logan and Kiera. I also enjoyed Kiera's friends and fellow teachers Ava ("Decidedly with Mistletoe") and Chloe ("Spying under the Mistletoe"), whose stories I plan to go back and read as soon as I find the time.

Overall, I loved this funny, sweet, heartwarming story and highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. Stina Lindenblatt is a new-to-me author, but I will definitely be checking out more of her books in the future.
