MIND. BLOWN. Can that be my full review? I feel like that is all my brain is capable of after reading this! I think watching so many real-life true crime stories has prepared me for the Buchanan brothers

Definitely Unhinged

This was really well written. It is dark and not to everyone's tastes. There was actually only one part that had me squirming. Reading books like this, you find things out about yourself that you didn't know!
Cain is a psychopath. He doesn't feel things like everyone else and kills because he enjoys it. He sees Kirby though and everything changes.
While Cain is the methodical planner, his brother Abel is reckless and impulsive. This book I think, is not just about Cain's relationship with Kirby but also his relationship with his brother, his twin. It's just been those 2 their whole lives. I felt a little sad for Abel and I'm really looking forward to reading his story next

Ooooowweee this book was DARK. at first I didn’t really know how I felt but man I hate how quickly I was all for Cain 😂. I really liked how it was all wrapped up in the end. It was a little fed up but it made sense. Super excited for the next book!

Unhinged Cain is the first installment of the Buchanan Brothers series, which pulled me into the story of twin serial unalivers Cain & Abel and Kirby and her mother Margaret, who both work for the FBI. The storyline is dark, and the relationship is unconventional but told in a way that I enjoyed both the characters and the storyline. The next book in the series is Twisted Abel by T.L. Hodel, which I will start reading next. The ending of Unhinged Cain was not a dramatic cliffhanger leaving me frustrated, but there is enough interest in seeing what happens next that I can't wait to start on Twisted Abel. This series is off to a strong start, and I am giving a rating of 4 / 5 Stars.
