As a new to me author , I was not disappointed with this book. It was a thriller packed with lots of twists and turns ; I didn’t feel like it was predictable until maybe the last 5 chapters. Overall, well written.

So much plot. Too much, really - all the things all the time. Overly descriptive, skimmed big chunks

Couldn’t put it down! Some things I guess right, some things I didn’t. I do still have unanswered questions though…

I mean it was alright
Not a bad story. I didn't like the writing style at all. Also unfortunately I figured out what one of the 2 plot twists was at 20% in the book. Not bad but not great.

After a few months on Prime, I just learned that members get a free book every month. I was excited about it of course, and chose this psychological thriller. But boy, was it a bad choice.
The story started ok but it got worse as it neared the end. A few parts even reminded me of the writing style of the Fifty Shades of Grey author (cringe). And this isn’t even THAT kind of book. The plot was scattered, the characters were not likable or at the very least, relatable. The twists were meh. I hoped the end would be its redeeming factor but I was wrong.
The reason why I didn’t give this book just a star is because I made it through the end. Barely. Sadly giving this..
2 stars.

I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting this to be a 5 star read. The blurb really hides how exciting this books gets. I'm kicking myself for having it so long and not reading it sooner. I never knew where it was going to go next, and the twists made it even better. If I hadn't started listening to it so late in the day, I definitely would have finished it in one sitting.

Quick, curious read
This story was beautifully put together. Even though i felt like i had some sort of grip on the bad guy, i didn’t have it all figured out, until near the end and i love that.
