Es una lectura dulce y tierna, ideal para leer en estas épocas.
Me gustó mucho leer la historia a la par de los días, aunque ayer me adelante un poco y lo acabe sin querer jeje

I am so glad i read this book. it was…so relaxing, refreshing and just a good read.

Dash is quiet, reserved, smart, a self proclaimed nerd semi loner and proud of it. He doesn’t need to be around people to have fun but he doesn’t have a problem being around people either. He has this confidence about himself that’s endearing and intriguing.

Lily is the happy, cherry, chipper socially awkward pain in the ass. not because she’s annoying but because she’s one of those kinds of people that are just too happy all the damn time. She celebrates, the day before the day before the day before Christmas for crying out loud….and these two people cross paths in the form of a red moleskin notebook left on a bookshelf in the local bookstore….

what ensues after is so epically awesome i couldn’t NOT stop reading. They use this notebook as a way to sort of court each other. giving the other dares and challenging each other’s wits. They leave this notebook all over NY with tasks each one should perform….kind of going on dates with each other without actually meeting its REALLY cool.

the Book is separated by days and by POV. Lily’s chapters are written by Rachel Cohn and Dash’s chapters are written by David. and you can tell because their writing styles are very different but it works because seeing as Dash and Lily are two different people, one expects their thought process and the way they perceive the world and the things around them a little bit differently. what was cool to find out was the authors emailed their chapters to each other kind of in the same manner Dash and Lily passed the notebook back and forth between one another…whatever they did though it worked out because this was a REALLY good book and i’d recommend it to all….

i’m not going to add anything else because i feel myself wanting to tell the whole story and this is definitely a book worth reading to get the story rather than me blabbing it on tumblr…

[side note: there was a little pop culture mistake that Rachel made…actually its HUGE….she called Hermione [yes from HP] Hermoine Potter….who the hell is Hermoine Potter…her name is Hermoine Granger! i would’ve even let calling her Hermoine Weasley slide but Potter!?! cmon Rachel…as an author you should NOT be making those kinds of mistakes….get it together hun.]

It was a ridiculous story, but I felt like the start of my year needed something both short and ridiculous.
