 This is a fantastic book.
10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World is unlike anything I have ever read. The storyline is exceptionally crafted with the mixing of factual details alongside the fictional story. I read about 80% of this book over the last two days and enjoyed every minute of it.

10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World has a way of pulling on your heartstrings and I can confidently say that Leila and her friends are my favorite characters from any book I have read to-date. Everything was raw and relatable in a way that allowed me to see through Leila's eyes into this world of underbelly Istanbul.

10/10 would recommend and will be reading this again someday.

3,5 arrondi.

This novel is so beautifully crafted. I fear any words I try and use will not do it justice but suffice to say the book charts a tale of love, loss, abuse, friendship, violence and every human experience and emotion in between. The language blossoms and winds around the reader, and captivates in a way only great fiction rooted in heartbreaking reality can.

Despite describing horrifying events, the book is exceptionally light. You have these characters, some more relatable, some less, but all of them are full of life. It gives you a longing of a family, especially if you didn't belong.
And I simply loved the whole 'body' part, the body being so much more than just a cadaver, deserving time and effort.
