This book was great! I love the whole cute girl/boy-next-door romance and I think the love and scenarios in this book tied it together so well. Caspian is such a good guy, he reminds me of my older brother in the ways he acts with London, it was absolutely adorable. I loved the wedding for London and Sterling too, so cute. I absolutely adore Ryleigh’s character, I love that she’s a welder (my brother welds too which is funny) and that she has such great dreams for the future. I love the whole fake dating/making someone jealous trope and this book executed it really well. Super enjoyable story, I loved it

Great story!
Loved Caspian! He and Ryleigh have such a cute story to follow! I love the whole growing up together, but didn't have any romantic history I til they were adults!

Alright, I think to start off, I feel like Samantha has a ghost writer or something, because compared to the last book, this was a breath of fresh air. And to be honest, I was a little hesitant to read this one because ever since Cannon, the books seemed to have died down just a little. But, this book surprised me, and although this wasn't the best book in the series, it was pretty good and surprising.
I was a little skeptical about this story line, a childhood friend, girl next door, sister's friend type of storyline is always weird because they're pretty much the same. Boy was the jock who had every girl at his feet, and girl always had a crush on him. And honestly? This book was literally that. But there was a twist, the girl - Ryleigh - was holding onto something that was toxic, hurtful, and disrespectful. But, the only difference was that Ryleigh noticed she was making bad decisions, and was aware of why she did it, which is super respectful and something I can get behind.
Own up to your mistakes, it's the only way you can move forward.
Caspian, the guy we had gotten introduced to two books ago, who loved his family to a fault. He'd give up anything for his family, and let's be honest, who doesn't love a guy who isn't afraid to show his family affection and love? His heart is where it needs to be, and you can tell that he puts intentionality into everything he does, and every decision he makes.
And yes, he was stubborn, but he also was willing to listen to people when he messes up, even though he could sometimes act out at the snap of a finger. Also, what is it with hockey boys and making me swoon with how they are willing to give up their love for the game for the love of their life?
Caspian and Ryleigh were actually super cute. They've got that cute summer fling going on that was actually very genuine. Their relationship wasn't focused on sex, there was romance, there was the fast falling in love, there was the realizing the person that was always in your life was the person meant for you. And it's funny, because Caspian calls Ryleigh the tomboy girl next door who swooped in and stole his heart, and well, that gives me hope that it's possible.
But to be honest, this entire book had me excited for Maxim's story, because we all know Evie is going to swoop him in and change his perspective on relationships and love.
