This book is 1) my YA bookclub selection for March, 2) recommended as one of the best books of 2016 on Pure Wow, and 3) the perfect accompaniment to the other book I'm reading right now (which is long/smart/sci-fi/alternative history).

First, I liked the format. Short chapters, with the primary narrators interspersed with occasional other characters' perspectives.

Second, I liked the characters--two children of immigrant families. Both dealing with issues of racism and belonging and figuring out how to love their families while also coming to grips with the idea of their parents as fallible human beings.

This book reminded me a lot of Eleanor and Park, which I also enjoyed quite a bit.

I'm not quite sure why I chose to read this book, other than the fact that several social media platforms have raved about this book.
It was a good read, just not my style as far as romanticizing events that are just a tad too coincidental to be realistic.

What a beautiful Love Story!
The Story is about Daniel and Natasha who meet in the streets of New York City.
The whole book is just about one day, where these too meet and get to know each other. The beautiful thing about this story is that the love story comes so naturally, it's not as "Love at first sight" story, it's envolves.
I can't write about it more, because I don't want to spoiler, but what I want to say
- I ugly cried at the end
- I kinda love / hate the end
- I want more of Daniel and Natasha (and even Irene)
- it remindes me of Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
- It's definitly one of my favourites of the YEAR 2019

I want to forget the storie so I can read it again for the first time.

Thanks for reading my review, hope it helped
