Ehhhhhhh, I've had such a hard time with this one, I'm not sure why. Hopefully, I'll come back to it since I so loved the rest of this series.

I love this series! It ends with such a cliffhanger and I can't wait for book 4 this spring. J. A. White is such a wonderful storyteller and I love the high vocabulary in this book. My students love this series. There is such deep and complex world building elements that I never want to stop reading. Seriously, read this book...like now...go....so good.

I love this book series! Each book more exciting than the last. This needs to be on the big screen, tho they couldn't truly do it justice.

It's 1 am and my primary thoughts right now are 'damn you, white'. I din't know why I thought this book might be different, but once again it finishes with them in an even worse place than where they began. Best in the series so far. I'm really hoping there isn't a book five planned as I'm not sure I could take it.

What a wild ride!!! I am not normally a series reader, but there is a reason that I keep reading these books: they are fantastic! The stories are great for fantasy adventure fans, especially kids who like their fantasy a little bit scary. Though they are long in terms of page count, the pages absolutely fly by, in part because of the smaller trim size and in part because of all the twists and turns of the plot.

This third book had just the right amount of backstory that reminded me of what happened in the second book without bogging down the action for those who haven't had to wait a year to find out what happened next (although I would not say that this volume can stand alone; you'll want to read the first and second books first). This installment wraps up this book's story while leaving tons of room to be excited about what's going to happen next.

I have been booktalking the first Thickety book to 5th & 6th graders this month, so it's made me even more excited to read this one and it definitely lived up to its promise!!

Ah! how I wish to enter the realm of Thickety... The relationship between Kara and Taff reminds me of myself and my younger brother. We're just like that. While reading the book I imagined myself as Kara and Taff as my brother. The book became more adventurous than before :D <3
One thing I don't like is the author made the story long when he could've finished it in 3 books.

!!!!!!!!!!

It's no secret that this is one of my favorite ongoing series. I think the writing is fantastic, the story is delightfully creepy, and Kara Westfall is among one of my most admired flawed heroines.

Part of me wishes this were the last in the series, but only because I'm so desperate to see how this all ends!

Not as spooky as the previous ones, but the world-building is cool! I like the glorbs. Phadeen itself was intriguing, with the words of thoughts feeding the trees. Cant wait to read the sequel!
