"I want you to know that in the darkness of the past ten years, you were one of the bright lights for me. Do not let that light go out." --Nehemia

Oh my god my heart! Maas really just said "you know those characters you love? nevermind". Crown of Midnight I thought did a great job of starting to uncover some of the mysteries set up in Throne of Glass without giving away too much.

I am devastated over the losses of Nehemia and Choal! Uh what am I going to do!

Be the light!

The story has many plot twists and character growth. I couldn't lay the book down and finished quite fast. I think it was better than the first one, but I loved the first one too.

Read my book review on my blog:

THIS ENDING!!!!! This book grabbed my heart and threw it across the room, spat on it, shred it into pieces, and restored it back and shocked me at the ending. I loved Sarah J. Mass.

I finally finished!! I felt like this book was WAY better than the last one. I didn’t enjoy the first book very much at all and I thought the characters were flat, but they got a lot more dimension in this book and the action scenes were significantly better! I also love Chaol despite apparently everyone else hating him, and I love her dog. I’m curious to see where the story goes next!
