Introduction
Good Girl is a book that I have been wanting to read for quite some time. In fact, I have only seen good things about this one here, so I decided to grab this one up. Now this book is also part of my TBR for Romanceopoly which was my pick for the "Office" challege. In "Good Girl" we have a story that is a well done office romance, it was a bit shorter than I was expecting though. I will say that if you are nervous about Office romances, this one will still work for you. The office aspects were handled super super well.

Summary
The set up of the story, is that our hero and heroine meet one night at a bar and share a sexy kiss and the hero calls her "Good Girl" which only works on the heroine. But then when she starts her new job, she realizes that the man she really had a fierce connection with, is her boss's boss's boss. Not exactly the best thing for HR, but soon they both realize resisting the attraction is pointless. When the heroine comes up with a plan to lose her viriginity through an auction, she will never plan on what would be the end result or what love she wouldn't expect to find.

My Outlook
I had such a fun time with this one, but I will be honest in that I think this is overrated. It was a fun enjoyable office romance, but I am not sure why so many five star it. It did have a unique spin on a office romance. Their relationship was done so well and I like the way that the hero goes to, in order to make sure the heroine isn't intimidated by the power dyanamic ,even removes that aspect. I did love the auction aspect. It just delivered a unique element to the story that was entertaining. And man the reactions was so classic. I did love the steam that is built into the story, the author handled that super well.

I am intrigued by this author's writing style and definitely plan on reading much more of her. I think her style just has so many lighter aspects that was endearing to read.

For those of you who don’t know, I am utterly obsessed with Jana Aston’s books. She is one of my top 5 authors that I can always depend on to provide me with an amazingly entertaining read. (Absolutely One-Click worthy)! Her books are so funny; I can still laugh super hard after re-reading one of her books for the fifth or twentieth time. I didn’t think any of her books could compare to my love and laughter for her first book, Wrong, but Good Girl definitely came really darn close. It may even be my new favorite! Good Girl is my top read so far for 2018. I LOVED IT SO MUCH! I mean, who wouldn’t love a goal-oriented, dedicated, fun, taco-loving Scout Trouper, who makes sheet pajamas!?! Lydia and Rhys had me laughing so hard throughout this book! I’m sure people around me probably thought I was a lunatic for my crazy outbursts of laughter. Lydia has a certain unexpected charm about her that you can’t help but fall in love with.

If there is one specialty that Jana has, it’s creating AMAZING secondary characters. She has exceeded her previous brilliance of giving the main character a crazy, outlandish, bizarre, and absolutely LOVABLE best friend. Payton, Lydia’s best friend was a great addition to the story and I am DYING for her to get her own book.

Absolutely loved Lydia, she is fantastic. I laugh out loud one too many times when I was supposed to be working. It made me wish I was a girl scout to see what badges I would've earned😉😉.

I LOVED this book. It was a super quick read for me, but the storyline, romance, and steamy scenes were just perfect.

Lydia was absolutely adorable. I LOVED how she vocalized everything she was thinking, especially about s*x. And Rhys just took it in stride. He was a great alpha male and it was so sweet how he inevitably fell for Lydia.

Very Disappointing

I am very sad to say that this book was very disappointing. We waited and waited. For months we eagerly awaited. And this book is awful. To me, this heroine is not naive but very ignorant. It’s almost like she is a special needs youth. The hero was just self absorbed. This book just went on and on with pointless lines of words. I bet the dialogue between the two main characters takes up 1/4 of the book. The rest is pointless rambling from the heroine. I am so disappointed because I love her other books. I found this one to be a dud. 👎🏻
