The second book in the Watch Her collection is the story of Aurora’s, from book 1, Brother Dax. He finds himself in love with Arianna, his new hire. She loves him back, but….she was in love with Luca.
This book was definitely not as dark as some of Emily’s books, but you should check the warnings before starting this book. I highly recommend reading the books in order to help you understand more about the characters and how they fit together.

Arianna and Daxton’s story was really great! It was inspiring to see how Arianna overcomes the things James did to her and gets her revenge in the end. I also liked the introduction of Luca to the story, but I think more relationship building/recovery could’ve been done there.

Must Read Trigger Warnings*

First, this can be read as a standalone, but it’s better if you read Watch Her Bleed first. I love that we got to see a bit of Matt and Aurora again.
This is Ari, Dax and Luca’s story. Which is very spicy btw!
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Such a good read!

Arianna suffered through so much trauma, but found solace from her former psychiatrist, Dax. Along the way, her first love Luca, came back into her life. Together, both Dax and Luca helped Ari through her trauma. Ari spent her life fighting, but in the end, she got her revenge.

“Baby, I will take every problem you have and adopt it as my own just for the sake of taking the weight of the world off of your shoulders. You have been carrying all of this around with you and it’s time that you let us take it on.”

The story in this book is amazingly written. Aurora is a fantastic character she has had a hard life and finally gets to see the brighter side of it shortly after telling her secrets. This is a reverse harem and a touch her and die dark romance. Out of the trilogy this is my favorite.

Please check all CW and TW before you dive into this one. I enjoyed this one as we got to see that even those that are trained to deal with others trauma and such can themselves be plagued. The growth you see from not only Arianna but Dayton and Luca.

This book covers some heavy stuff, so
be mindful of the triggers, and please
take them seriously!!
If you like:
*BDSM/Brat Tamer
*Age Gap (9 years)
*MFM/Why Choose?
*Size Difference (5'1V6'2)
*Second chance
*Psychiatrist/patient
*InstaLust
*ADHD Rep
*Healing
*Trigger Heavy
While parts of this book were very
emotional and deep, the support
system Ari found with Dax and his
family and friends helped her deal
with her past and present danger.
They taught her she had the strength
within herself to survive and thrive
through it all.
I'm not usually a why choose gal
but holy hotness, Emily made that
Dax and Luca sandwich sound
delicious 😋

This was a good story, however I feel like there were some inconsistencies or clarifications. Overall, I really enjoyed this fast read! Possible clarifications that may be needed... Why is James SO obsessed with Ari? Like, since high school?? Why?! When everything goes down while she's in college, there is no mention of a boyfriend while she's in college, until his family is sitting in his living room and Aurora mentions Luca. I feel like that was a big part of her college story that maybe should have been mentioned when she was initially telling Dax. Then the end, his parents are doctors? At the end, the paramedic tells Dax and Luca that she'll need to see a Dr, and Dax says that he'll have mom and dad look at her. There is no mention, that I know of, of their profession so that struck me as weird.

Again, great story. Short but pretty action packed, with extra spice! Like, the spice is spicin'!! Onto Watch Her Bloom!!
