I had fun reading this fun and spooky/mystery story. Though, not that spooky for me, I feel like in that middle-grade age I would have absolutely loved this series. It's right in my wheel-house that introduced me to so much more as an adult. Horror/Scary/Thrillery type reads will always be my favorite go-to's.

Something I can really appreciate with Diana's writing and story-building is her ability to be inclusive to a wide variety of individuals and really represents them well throughout the story. I love Joey, who is Theresa's autistic brother. He's always so to the point and kind of funny at the same time.

Kerry and Theresa's relationship is so wonderful too. The are so different, which makes it a nice look into how we can all be friends, regardless of how different we are.

Thank you Diana Corbitt for sending me a copy of this. I really enjoyed book 1 and book 4 was just as fun!

This is a wonderfully sweet and slightly spooky middle grade book, perfect for a spooky October read! Kerry, Theresa, Joey, and Elbie are four friends who are also ghost chasers. In Ghosters 4, the friends are at summer camp and encounter the ghost of Nancy, a young girl who died at the camp decades before. Nancy wants the ghost chasers to help find her remains so that she can finally rest.

The four friends, with the help of a trickster tree spirit, Bad Jack, work together to determine what happened to Nancy and help her Rest In Peace. I love that the characters are such a diverse group and the multiple timelines and perspectives really enhance the story!

I just finished reading this one, thanks to Diana Corbitt for my copy.

Although is meant to be for children I'm actually quite fond of this series! It can catch your interest no matter what age you are, and that alone seems like a massive achievement.

In this book we have our heroes again just minding there own business, in this opportunity going for summer camp, until a ghost is in the need of help. I don't want to spoil the book so I won't tell you more than that.

I like how the story progresses, not too fast but not too slow either. In this one there's the addition of a tree spirit, the only thing that bugs me is that we never know what happened to it after.

It was great having the different POV in three different timelines until they all join together giving sense to the story, it was a nice way of getting to know the characters.

Overall is a great story, and it managed to get me out of my slump, and for that I'm really grateful!

This has been such a fun series. No matter what age you are, these are perfect for the Fall and Spooktober season.

I love the friendship between Kerry and Theresa. They are different but enjoy the same things and so they go well together.

I equally love, if not a little more, that Joey is such a huge part of the storyline. It's good for kids to see a main character with autism getting involved, and being a huge part, in solving the mysteries.

This is a series I definitely recommend for MG kids. I think it's fun, it's perfectly spooky, and flows well that kids would stay interested.

I sincerely appreciate the publisher for providing me with a review copy. All opinions expressed herein are mine and mine alone.

This was a wonderful end of summer story. The classic camp background with  rivers, cabins, campfires, and ghost stories brought back all of the nostalgia of summer's magic. The author does such a great job with bringing her characters to life. They are vivid and energetic and make you smile, especially Elbie with his antics. I like seeing that Theresa and Kerry are growing up and a bit more mature in this installment. It's the perfect balance to the boys mischief. The spooky ghost mystery and multiple perspectives kept the story interesting without being too scary. I'd definitely recommend this for readers who love Nancy Drew, The Boxcar Children, Goosebumps, and Encyclopedia Brown.

A big thanks to the author for sending me a copy of this book.

I am voluntarily writing a review to be posted in a bit. I'm still gathering my thoughts.

Update (07/15/2021):

Ghosters 4: Mysteries of Camp Spooky is a middle-grade novel that was released last June 2021. I'm thankful to the author for sending me a copy and now I'm volunteering to review the book.

First of all, I want to say just how perfect this book is for intermediate readers with its use of language and imagery. The plot is easy to follow and fun to unpack. The mystery is enjoyable to unravel and I like how the previous books are referenced.

Second, I like the representation in the book. Some characters are ones of color while others have autism or ADHD. The younger protagonists are delightful to read about with their bubbly energy but I wish the older ones held the same level of interest and growth for me.

Third, the book is quite a page-turner with its mysterious nature but I wish the story paced itself a bit faster and had more unpredictable resolutions.

Overall, Ghosters 4 is a fun ride and I hope there are more installments to this series because I want to read more of Theresa and the gang's adventures.

Thank you once again to Diana Corbitt for sending me a copy of this book.

This book was gifted to me, and I read it as a bedtime story with my kid - we both enjoyed it so much! We both liked the camp setting and how spooky it was. If you enjoy mysteries you'll enjoy this.

This was a nice quick read and was the perfect amount of spooky for the intended audience (middle grade). I reviewed Ghosters 3 last year which I really enjoyed and this one did not disappoint! The setting of a summer camp made it the perfect book to read on my recent camping trip! Although this is the fourth book in the series it very much reads like a stand alone.
