Words can't describe how much I adore cam and this book. Getting to read his thoughts is a wonderful treat.

Those books on wattpad about bad boys falling for damaged girls and the boys being like super into the girl to the point they worship the ground they walk on and everything is kind of fluffy until it hurts because its so sad? This book.

I did enjoy it but it didn't really bring anything new to the first book. I feel like you would either read this or the first one but not really both.

Publishing a retelling of your novel from another perspective is a popular thing this year. We had [b:Walking Disaster|15745950|Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2)|Jamie McGuire|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1352338368s/15745950.jpg|21436019], [b:This Girl|15784909|This Girl (Slammed, #3)|Colleen Hoover|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1364326075s/15784909.jpg|21502991] and many more. Apparently J. Lynn decided to join the crowd with novella [b:Trust in Me|17860217|Trust in Me (Wait for You, #1.5)|J. I loved [b:Wait for You|17314430|Wait for You (Wait for You, #1)|J. Lynn|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1363819713s/17314430.jpg|23981243] and Cam was my favorite character there so I was excited to read the retelling from his point of view. But I think that decision to tell the story from Avery's point of view in original was a good one. Because when you don't have insight into her thought she sometimes looks like a total jerk and all you could think of is 'poor Cam'.

In the end [b:Trust in Me|17860217|Trust in Me (Wait for You, #1.5)|J. Lynn|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1376561229s/17860217.jpg|25003611] sounded like a retelling of a book from a person who skips some (to her unnecessary) parts and makes the story more shallow. I looked forward to more Cam, but maybe it was better if I just simply re-read [b:Wait for You|17314430|Wait for You (Wait for You, #1)|J. It has been awhile since I first read Cam and Avery's story in Wait for You. I'm glad, because this story is the same, but I like the characters. It was fun to read Cam's POV, but at the same time, it was sort of like reading the same book all over again.
