This book wasn’t as good as the first or second if I’m being honest. I feel like I expected more than what I got if I’m being honest. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it.

Nero from the start was a sweetheart even if he was cold hearted and “bad”. You could tell from the start that he was going to end up falling for the girl he never noticed. Camille was a sweetie. She acted like she didn’t want to fit in or that she didn’t care about the opinions of other people, but as the story went on you see that get expanded on. I liked them both together and I liked how well they fit eachother.

I also love how there was no 3rd act conflict 😍 was surprised by that but it was insanely refreshing. The spice in it was hot and I love the drawings that get included every few chapters that expand on what is currently playing out.

I enjoyed Savage Lover but felt the romance wasn’t as strong as the previous two books in the series. I like Camille and Nero but I feel like their romantic journey was on the pages less than Aida/Callum and Nessa/Miko which prevented the reader from emotionally connecting with them as a couple. That being said I still couldn’t put this book down. I would recommend this book!

4,5 possibly 5 but idk I think Dante’s book might remind me for Persuasion and I’m a sucker for that trope. This was great I liked the romance and the plot was fun and had me anxious but in a good way.

This is my favorite of the series so far. The chemistry felt so much better, and the story was more unique than the first two. My biggest issue though is the ending was lacking in my opinion.
I wanted a wedding or at least them moving in together or something.
This is the shortest book so far and I think it could have benefited from being a little longer.

Fantastic. The heist in this is so damn fun and dramatic, also a really good way of including the whole Gallo family in the book. It took a really really long time for the relationship to build into anything tangible, and that felt like a lot of wasted time at the start of the book.
