I found this book hard to get through.  The book is at times extremely graphic when discussing the contents of individual pornographic films, and I understand the intention and need to convey how serious the situation is, but I believe it could have been as effective if the examples were cut by half.  I was more interested in the content about the effects of pornography on society and individuals.  I don't know if it's possible to say I enjoyed this book, as it is one of the most depressing things I've ever read, but I am glad to have read it.

It's both statistic based and witness rooted. It's both truthful and compassionate and not deterministic of men and their sexual behavior. I could do with some minor improvements in terms of rhetoric, since I do not think that a pro family discourse is necessarily sexist -on the contrary- or that sexual expression can be individually constructed, but it is nevertheless very illuminating in some aspects.
