Come and get it is a character driven, slow burn of a book, and while that may not work for every reader, it certainly worked for me. We have SUCH rich characters. They’re messy and imperfect and deeply human, and I think the flaws are what make this book so great. You are not going to get a cookie cutter story with a fairy tale ending and that is my FAVORITE kind of book. My only issue in my reading of this book was that I neglected to check CW and got hit REAL hard with one part in particular- so I definitely recommend NOT doing what I did and checking those warnings!  Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend this book!

This book was literally awful. It’s like 10 ppl wrote this book without reading what the previous person wrote. The plot and Characters are all over the place. There is literally no plot. The characters are so stereotypical.  Halfway through you’re probably still trying to figure out where the story is going. It feels like someone telling you about their dream, in the worst way. I would not recommend this one. I have no idea how anyone would enjoy this shit

I really loved Reid's first book (Such A Fun Age), but this one fell a bit flat for me. I found it a bit hard to follow at the start. and the direction didn’t seem incredibly clear. I ended up disliking pretty much every main character too. I still couldn’t stop turning the pages though! I find Reid’s writing very addictive..
