It is a satirical take of a teen detective novel. There are no significant consequences to actions and nobody really experiences growth. Thus is a great read when you are waiting for the dentist.

It's a Game Grumps book, you know what your expectations should be going into it. A short, fast paced, easily predictable mystery, but has some fun with dialogue and character tropes along the way. If you enjoy reading silly, lighthearted mysteries and aren't trying to take it too seriously, it's reasonably enjoyable.
