i love this novel, the story flow was so intriguing. i'm enjoying every single second i spent reading this book. there's some parts that just don't make any sense to me but yeah, i was beguiled by this book. and btw can that bernard man just shut his fucking racist mouth? thanks.

Loved the characters and their various voices. Sad true plot. My mom told similar stories of Britain after the war including one of my father's older brother who came back from India with a 'black' bride.
