This one fell pretty flat for me. I honestly could not stand either of the MCs, and their chemistry never did feel authentic for some reason. I may try more from this series later, but for now I'm going to move on to something else.

I absolutely adored this story. It was so much fun. It made me laugh out loud and swoon so much. I love the banter and the emotion and the journey you get to experience between these characters. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author and hopefully more from these characters. I can't wait to see what Teagan has in store for us next!

Several laugh out loud moments. I loved that I felt the chemistry between these characters. River, at times, was over-the-top, but for the most part, I loved watching her and Dean together.
Looking forward to the next book, which I'm assuming will be about Maya.

This book was cute but predictable. I personally hate pie so I had a hard time relating to that being a huge topic in the book.

3.5 rounded up to 4 for goodreads.
I absolutely loved all of the banter, the chemistry, and the whole neighbour storyline. Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope these days, so this book definitely didn’t disappoint. However, I would have liked a little more to be included in the epilogue. I’m dying to see what happens next, fingers crossed I’ll get more in the next book.
There’s just something about Teagan Hunters writing that pulls me in from the very beginning and makes it near impossible to put the book down. Starting book two in this series immediately!!

"What's that saying? Love and hate are two sides of the same coin?"
River White hates Dean Evans. He is loud, steals her pie and annoys her every time.
Dean Evans hates River White. She is obnoxious, bossy and reports him to the building manager all the time.
After a incident, they became roomates, and maybe it's not the best idea, considering their hate circumstances. But, the attraction that exists between them will turn everything even more difficult and they'll discover, that hate it's not the only thing who will bring them together.
"How can you loathe someone so much and still feel this good because of them?"
Teagan Hunter, bring us a romantic, funny, cute, heartwarming and a couple who is impossible not to fall for! This book is so good, I loved every moment of it.
River and Dean make the perfect duo, and they chemestry is everything! At various times I found myself thinking "omg, they're so perfect together" and everytime it put on a smile on my face. And it makes me happy, because expectations were exceeded.
Enemies-to-lovers is one of the tropes I like the most, and this one is certainly the one I know, I'll be reading soon.
River is amazing, she works hard, is determined and loves her friends with her hole heart. (And her obssesion with pie ... it's hard not to love her).
Dean is a teacher, who loves his job, has determination and has a big big heart. I feel hard for him, and I really don't regret it.
Their dinamic is so much fun to read, they are like kids sometimes and other they have those sparkles going on between them, that kind everyone sees but not them.
I love Teagan, she is one of my favorite authors and see how she developed this book and how good these characters are, makes the fangirl inside of me jump. She excels at each book and I love to see that her writing can engage the reader quickly and make them fall in love with her characters, development and her passionate stories.
If you're looking for a book with funny and lovable characters, and a cute cat and turtle (yes, he is a emotional support turtle! ) this is the one for you. I promise you won't regret it!
