Fine, I suppose, but I finished it a week ago and can barely remember it.

In the second installment of this unique series, Hendricks has begun to move directly against the joined forces of illegal organizations in the US. No longer is Hendricks after their hitmen, instead he is after the Council directly. But, as with most cases of revenge, he is sloppy with his tactics. Ultimately, he is drawn into a case that is the side effect of a terrorist hit on the Golden Gate Bridge. And luckily for Hendricks, the right people are in the right places right when he needs them. Sometimes it is all a bit too pat. But, yes, you need to read the first book in the series or this one will be a bit confusing for you. But both books are worth it if you want to read an interesting premise and lots of action!

true page-turning stuff - a worthy follow-up to THE KILLING KIND indeed. More TK.

I was pleasantly surprised by this novel.
It was a fast paced thriller that was definitely interesting. I think that my favourite part was that it wasn't hard to follow along and I didn't really need to think about what was happening with it. I could just read the book.
Definitely one that crime or thriller readers should definitely check out! I'm definitely interested in reading the first novel and to see where this trilogy goes.
