Audible free, # 2 of 5, was definitely long winded at points but I did mind it. May have given a bit of extra credit because it was nice to hear about places I visited in Hong Kong. Generally however, and very happy to have found this series even though it dates from what the 70s?

Another in the series that is fun and lightweight, if preposterous.

Not my favorite, but Winslow's writing is always amazing and I love the Neal character. Lots of casual racism used by characters in this one - historically accurate but still jarring.

This was an okay novel. I liked the first one in the series much better. The story here was a little too convoluted. I still like Don Winslow's writing though and may go on to the third one in the series to see if it improves.

I like a lot of Winslow's work but this is my least favorite. Too long and poor pacing.
