How is a Christmasey romance book boring?
Also I saw this in "adult romance" but this is YA????

Talk Santa to Me is a cute, wholesome YA rom-com for this holiday season. Urban writes of several intersecting plots surrounding Francie and her family's Christmas shop. Mainly, Francie wants to live down her not-so great first kiss and she has to navigate this holiday season as the store's "Santa's Intern".
Now, I haven't read any holiday rom-com books prior to Talk Santa to Me. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this book. Urban does a great job with illustrating the magic of the Christmas season and I really liked learning about Francie's family legacy with the Christmas shop and adjacent Santa School. Francie was also a great MC and I enjoyed getting her perspective on things happening within the book.
Though Talk Santa to Me is on the slightly younger side of YA, I think any YA reader would enjoy this book and Talk Santa to Me is perfect for readers that want a Hallmark movie to be in a YA novel format.

Yes, I am still reading Christmas books. No, this is not the last one of year on my library hold list. Do I hate it? No. Why limit the Christmas joy just in December??? No thank you.
Super cute book. Read it if you want a nice, non-spicy book. Plus, who doesn't like a war between Santas?

I reaaaally wanted to love this - I absolutely adore a retail-based Christmas novel that goes super hard on the Christmas spirit and also has a mission - and this was all of those things! But unfortunately it just... stressed me out? It was the plot with Aunt Carole, it just put me on edge and made for a really anxious read actually, I kept wanting someone to stop her from being quite so awful :(

Cute but slow to the point, story could have been deeper and characters could have been developed more. But overall a nice quick holiday read :)

this was cute and made me consider my ambivalent feelings regarding christmas to think of santa in a positive way..also appreciated that the christmas wasn’t like the only thing going on and didn’t overpower everything it just felt like book that took place in the holidays and overall i liked it <3
