The Doctor is traveling with a library assistant! I am irrationally excited!

But yeah. I liked Alice pretty well. Also the weird guy who is basically David Bowie wasn't bad either. Some of the art was kind of meh though. There were points where Eleven's face was just so messed up. Even more than his usual weird looks.

Das war traurig und witzig und süß zugleich - jedenfalls die ersten 2-3 Kapitel, danach wurde es etwas langweiliger.

3 stars. I really liked the first two issues in this five issue bind up. The rest unfortunately, fell incredibly short for me.

The artwork was decent, I didn't really care for the way Matt Smith is drawn but the rest of the characters and surroundings were pretty good. I liked the companion, Alice, a lot. She was such an interesting character and I felt like the first few pages that introduce her were done beautifully and automatically had me hooked. I also loved how her and the Doctor first met and their first adventure together. The pages with the flashback of her as a child with her mom were also handled really well.

The Doctor was the Doctor pretty much. Gotta love him. He carried over his same humor from the show so that was a plus.

Like I said, the first two issues are definitely worth a read and I think you'll enjoy it if you're a massive Whovian.

Meh. Kinda boring. The only story I really liked was #5, The Sound of Our Voices.

Surprisingly, I didn't like this one. It jumped around too much. It was like one of those forgettable episodes.

So this was the first Doctor Who comic I've ever read, I read it few weeks ago when I realized that there won't be any Doctor Who until Christmas, and honestly, I quite like it, the companions are awesome (especially John Jones, and Alice reminds me a bit of Donna, which is good), and I really think that the writers got Eleventh's character quite right, the only complaint I have is probably concerning the artwork, I don't know, maybe it's just because I haven't read a comic in years.

I'm in love with these Doctor Who Titan comic series. Good artwork, dialogue that captures the essence of Matt Smith's Doctor and really exciting, fun adventures. My only gripe would be how uninterested the companion, Alice Obiefune seems to be with all the time and space travel and how persistent she is with going home to meet with her landlord when the Doctor is so willing to show her all the universe has to offer. Great fun, nonetheless, and I can't wait for more issues to be released.
