This book feels more like I’m reading the author’s diary than reading about anxiety. There are some scriptures that were helpful, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this book to others.

It's rare that I read a library book then order my own copy a few chapters in. I will hold onto this as a reference as it'll apply to personal situations now and in the future.

This was not what I was expecting at all. I think a more appropriate title for this book would be, "reasons you are a subpar Christian, how to be a better Christian, and a little bit of information about anxiety."

While not a bad book, it has relatively little information about stopping the spiral of toxic thoughts related to anything other than thoughts about not being a good enough Christian.

It took a bit to get to the “meat and potatoes” of the book, but I did like the message and had many takeaways!

It took me so long to read this book because I couldn’t get through one page without having stop and mediate on the truths that Jennie kept reminding me of. Her heart is so evident in this book. I will 100% be reading this again!!
