A solid read. The author did a great job of writing an engaging account of how tedious being a spy can be. I really enjoyed this one.

Very interesting non-fiction about modern Russian spies, the deep undercover kind. Took us from illegals living in Canada under the names of dead babies, staying there for years and years and raising children who thought they were Canadian to the Salisbury poisoning. Recommended reading for anyone who enjoys spy fiction.

Must read!
It is incredible the lengths Russia will go for information and influence over its perceived enemies in the west. Putin is a loose cannon and is driven by ego and thinks the whole world is out to get him so he tries to get them first. Brilliantly written and researched book about all of this espionage. Well done!

If you were a fan of the TV show “The Americans” and were fascinated by stories of Russian sleeper cells living in the US and other countries for decades in order to spy, this book was a really cool look into all the details of the real life cases that inspired the show. I was impressed with the level of detail.
