And once again, an arc ends with several of the characters we've come to know dying. Pioran I've become quite fond of in spite of my frustration with her in one of the earlier volumes (although, the summary for the next volume spoiled her death for me a while ago). But with the Nokker zombies, I'm more concerned that one of them seems to have survived, which means Fushi may not have gotten Parona and March's forms back than about Tonari's friends being dead, due to them being pretty one dimensional. I only felt a little bad because it was an awful way to go and I did become attached to Tonari who was very torn up.
Fushi is developing more, and I did like Tonari's development.

Moderate: Body horror, Child death, Death, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Violence, Blood, Grief, Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail
I don't know what to describe that scene where Hayase gets naked as, but people need a warning for it.
