Ok

Slow, far too detailed about the smaller things, very obvious and very little actual action. It's not an action book as such, but still, basically nothing happened except for 2 things.

I was thinking 3 stars, but while writing this review I changed it to 2 because while I kinda enjoyed the book, it's not one I'll be recommending around.

This book took me a while to read, and I have to say it dragged a little, but, and I know this is crazy, but I have a new book boyfriend! Michael *swoon* Wow he's one incredible guy. He's gorgeous, his personality is amazing, he's a well-rounded guy, he respects his elders, he respects Tasmyn, he's just perfect. I really hope he turns out to be as perfect as he is now.
Actually, thinking more about the book, there wasn't really much wrong with it, just the length of time it took me to read it. And even though it was so cliche, I'm so pleased that
Spoilerall of Tas's new friends seem to accept her ability, and aren't going to tell anyone.
I just wonder what'll go on with
SpoilerMs Lacusta
in the next books. Might read them at some point, who knows.

Yaaaawwwwwn.

I kept waiting for there to be some conflict in the love story. Something, anything.... But there's not. It's just insta-perfect love. Barf. I really hoped he had some special talent too.

This story maybe had potential? But it didn't get there.

This was somewhere between 2 & 3 stars for me. It is a typical YA which I think will appeal to younger teens who don't question insta-love or find it creepy ( I kinda do) and who have not read this plot a countless times (which I have). I wasn't a bad book but nothing stood out about it either. I was interested enough to finish it but it was a little slow moving (way too much time spent with Tas & Michael making goo-goo eyes at each other and declaring their forever love - after 2 days mind you).

It was free with Amazon Kindle edition. Audible was only $1.99. I really wanted to read something light, and I am glad I downloaded this one. English was easy enough to follow while I am doing something on the side. Although I do not like the pure romance part much, but the story was somewhat interesting. You have the ability to hear other's thoughts. What a gift. Personally I do not want to have that gift, but maybe it can be handy sometimes. Will I read the 2nd book in the series? I might...if the book is cheap...

Not bad for a kindle freebie. It was a little too long and drawn out, but the story piqued my interest and she developed the characters well enough to draw readers into the rest of the series.

I thought this was going to be an interesting YA Fiction/Occult book, and it is... sort of, after you've read through 1/3 of the book in which a pair of teenagers who've just met repeatedly declare their undying love for each other. The first 10 or so chapters I read aloud, which makes the typos/errors much more obvious- and distracting -to me. Even once you get to the plot, it's pretty thin. I won't be bothering with the sequel.

The story was good, just had to wade through a lot of insta-love wishy-washiness to get there. Really can't recommend, the romance was so overpowering that I felt like I had to slog through the book. I was hoping for a spooky ya novel with a dash of romance, what I got was 2 chapters of action, 20 chapters of unrealistic conversation, and god knows how many chapters of 17 year olds declaring their love for each other after a week of eating lunch together. Maybe I'm not the target audience here...

As my first book I read on my kindle, I actually enjoyed this. It was a very predictable story line and cheesy romance it was still a decent read.
