This book was too depressing for me, opening old wounds, reliving the past again and scarring old scars deeper than a knife could. At first it was mysterious but then it got too predictable and worse boring along the way. I yawned many times I could count. Although some topics do open for questions as life and death is at hand. None will truly know when one hasn't experienced real death. So again this is quite different but not my cup of tea.

Enjoyed this. Wasn’t great wasn’t awful but it definitely kept me interested throughout. All the main characters are likeable (maybe not LOVABLE) and I feel like they might be a bit flat sometimes.

Definitely a fantastic dystopian. I loved this world and the reimagining of this world without natural death. Citra and Rowan are scythe apprentices, and in this world, scythes are the only way to experience true death. Hundreds of years in the future, the thunderhead has taken over all intelligence, and solved all of humanities problems. Now the only issues is that we are too perfect. How the Scythes inact death in a managed and balanced way throughout the world. They are the only way someone can die, and only they decide. They are balanced, precise, and unbiased... Or are they? So many twists! Highly recommend!
