I think that Red Phoenix is a great writer and is defiantly having her characters push themselves to their limits to see what they really want to be. I hope that she either stays with Blue Eyes or Tono.

It took me a while to get interested in this series but finally I am hooked - with only one left to go - nooo!
I am looking forward to seeing who she chooses to offer her collar to. Personally I am a Sir fan. Although I understand why so many people find him boring and their heat lacking, I must say that there is a quiet intensity between the two of them that is appealing - and one must remember that Sir is in a position where he cannot really show any passion/emotion/reaction toward Brie due his earlier indiscretion with her as it could result in her expulsion or his resignation.

I like that she has created so much dissension among the trainers.
I wouldn't be terribly upset if she choose Tono or Marquis. But I must say I really hope Faelan is not even considered. His arrogance and aggression grate me. I am really surprised at how his character developed - I assumed he would be some sort of aggressor that would add a dangerous twist to the story making the others more protective of her - instead he turns out to be training at the centre to become a Dom. I didn't really like that part of the series so far.

I do have a small fear that she will have to end up with either Faelan or Tono due to something Mary said. When discussing who she may offer her collar to she said "i would love that man [Marquis] to collar me if it was allowed". Does that mean trainers are off limits? or perhaps he is already taken? But if they aren't permitted to approach the trainers that would mean she could have neither Sir or Marquis.

I am beginning to love this series. The only point that irks me slightly is that there is a distinct difference between a submissive and a slave but the lines are very blurred in this series - at times it seems it is leaning very much more towards slave. That being said, Red does create a captivating character in Brie and the subtle differences between all the Doms and their specialties is interesting.
