+ satisfied with the plots and subplots, and their progress
‱really like Tory, wish Darcy had a bit more personality? But she has progressed from the first novel so hopefully that continues
+ I enjoy the multiple POVs

It is very poorly edited. There are too many elements to a plot that isn't easily identifiable. Major content warning.

I hate myself for loving this, but while the first one was a bit dubious and questionable, this one was very focused on revenge and I absolutely loved it. Plus I loved that we got some perspective in the guys’ minds, which I suppose strung a little bit of empathy for them.

I definitely liked this more than the first book, but I gave it the same rating cuz I just couldn't bring myself to give it four stars. I took a break from reading it about halfway through to focus on my book club books, but man that last third really goes by in a whirlwind. It's nice to see the twins finally developing their own personalities and discover themselves as Fae, but it's equally as nice to see the Heirs get a taste of their own medicine. Looking forward to the next one!

4 out of 5 ☆’s.

”It didn’t matter that I hated him and he hated me, in that moment it was only us and them. And I couldn’t bear to let them take him.”

Diving back into this world again and  getting to see the outcome of the events that unfolded in ”The Awakening” was such a fun experience!

I loved getting to see Tory and Darcy gain some more footing in Solaria — stating that they’re starting to see it as their home, etc. — as well as seeing their continued attempts at harnessing their powers.

(I’m glad that the authors of the series are making this a gradual process for the sisters — rather than having Tory and Darcy arrive at ZA and instantly being able to beat everyone to a pulp
)

I also enjoyed seeing Orion and Darcy’s relationship develop a bit more in this novel
I’m such a sucker for them!

I’m sooo excited to begin “The Reckoning“! :)

P.S. Orion is still my number one. ♡

Addicting as hell. The plot's level of action and simultaneous depth is incredibly well written and makes for an entirely absorbing read.
