Actually think this was the best in this series so far.

Less gang stuff and more about their romance so it felt a little bit more romance than before. Loved Nathan as well he was cute and funny. Probably the best hero in this series so far.

Claiming Bailey is full of self help aspect instead of military romance. Well the hero, Nathan is more like self help guru who keep on and on encouraging Bailey to find her strenght.

Althought Miss Stoker gives the story more darker aspect, it is still not helping with the overall of the story.
Good thing I am in the mood for something cheesy.

Typical Susan Stoker style book. Faithful hero, respect for women.

It's best to read the previous books in the series as some events in his story relate to events from those books.
Nathan and Bailey.
It's interesting change as Nathan regards himself as a nerd who doesn't have a lot of experience with women so refreshing.

I was really hoping that the last Anderson brother Nathan would find the right woman for him. He is rather different from his brothers as Nathan prefers to fight with his brain and openly admits to being a nerd. Now Bailey is definitely his opposite with her knowledge of cars and tattoos yet he knew that she was his to protect right from the very beginning.

I actually found this book to be my favorite of the series. Well written with engaging characters, witty dialogue and an interesting plot. I enjoyed it as the tension both from danger and the heat between the characters builds up nicely. But what I really enjoyed was a couple of surprises which go to show how unusual a hero Nathan really is.

I do recommend this book to any of my readers who enjoy romantic suspense especially to any that following the Ace Security series. And if you aren't, well why not? There are some sex scenes but nothing that explicit and of course, there is violence so perhaps not for the younger readers.

*** I received this book at no charge from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. All opinions expressed within are my own.

Sweet despite the tough scenes

I really liked Bailey and Nate's story. It was good to see Nate doing something other than behind a computer screen. His willingness to wait for Bailey was so sweet..

For some reason the flashback parts with Bailey remembering her time with the gang were uncomfortable to get through.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the way that Nathan was with Bailey and Joel and how he built his trust and relationship with them. He was exactly what they needed and it was awesome to see them start to thrive in the midst of having the Donovan hanging over their heads. He took his time and really showed them who he was and that he was trustworthy while also stepping up and showing Joel how to act and treat others and what was acceptable and not. This was different than the other stories as there was quite as much action, it had to do more with the internal struggles and growth that they had to complete in order to move forward. There was still plenty to grab and hold my attention the entire way through. I'm super excited for the next book in the series as well.
