🌶️ 3 spice 🌶️

“You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into.” 

I needed a little dark romance pick me up. So here I am. 
I still love this series. So dark and twisted but very addictive. 
I know for a fact this is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea but it for sure is mine.

I love the boys in this, they are all so different from one another and different when it comes to Story that I am just obsessed with all of them in their own way,
I do wish that at times Story was a bit of a stronger character, she did have her moments but also there were times where I feel she could have been a bit better.

I do enjoy the Ted plot, like what is going to happen who is it and all the good stuff. But that was the only type of plot that was happening through the story other wise it was mainly character relationships.

But all together I did enjoy this and will be reading the rest of this series!

Fun lil dark ish reverse harem moment 

Sparknotes: Three years ago, Story was felt up by her step dad Daniel and made a plan to become a sugar baby to get money to run away. One of the sugar daddies becomes obsessed and it starts off nice enough but quickly turns violent. As a result she goes running back to her step brother, Killian for protection. Just before fleeing her home three years ago, Killian witnessed Daniel feeling up Story and has resented her for it ever since, thinking he was hers. As a result he let his two friends, Tristan and Dimitri assault her. Forcing her to give oral to Tristan whilst the other two watched. When Story goes to their frat house and applies to become the Lords next Lady, they take her in and the complexities of their relationships and feelings soon build. The three Lords have a bet going, earning points to determine who will take Story’s virginity. Blah blah blah, drama, blah blah blah, Story gets kidnapped by a rival group, blah blah blah constant threat of stalker Ted. Book ends with Story choosing to have sex w Killian as she likes him the least, she then sends proof to Ted that she is no longer a virgin which he finds as he reveals he is a senior member of the Lords group and plans his retaliation

Def one of the most brutal things I’ve ever read. When they gave those trigger warnings they should’ve emphasized the ENTIRE BOOK is the trigger. But somehow I enjoyed it deeply 😂

Complicated feelings on this one. On one hand, I’m completely disgusted by what the male MCs in this book do to the heroine, and on the other, I’m marveling at how the authors sprinkle juuuuuuuust enough hope and kindness to make you not completely hate them. It’s masterful, honestly.
