Now that I have finished the Off-Campus series (I still have yet to read The Legacy, but we all know that it's the epilogue book), I can now rank the books.

  1. The Goal
  2. The Deal
  3. The Mistake
  4. The Score

I never really thought someone would top Garrett as one of my book boyfriends… until I read The Goal. There's something about sweet men and Tucker was the sweetest. As for Sabrina, I related to her not because of her family issues, but because of her drive and strength. Both MCs are much more lovable to me than the others, that's why The Goal made it to my top 1.

If it weren't for Garrett, I wouldn't place The Deal in the second spot. In my opinion, he saved that book. Garrett will always be one of my favorite book boyfriends. I felt that Hannah's character was a bit forced. Her overly cheerful personality seemed like she was trying too hard to be that type of girl.

As for The Mistake and The Score, they were just average for me (The Score was forgettable).

Another fantastic read in this series. I enjoyed seeing Tucker being his nurturing self and I loved how protective he is of Sabrina and their kid. I can't decide whether I like Garrett or Tucker more. But I can say the first book is still my favorite so far. I also loved seeing Sabrina and Dean make amends. I've already started the last book, but I'm excited to continue it and finish up this series.

“Because love is the ultimate goal. It’s not the one I had strived for, but I was lucky enough, so damn lucky, to achieve it.”
 - The Goal

Tropes: Sports (Hockey), College, One-Night Stand, Surprise Pregnancy, Slow Burn
Spice Scale: 🌶🌶🌶🌶
CW: Pregnancy, Death, Grief, Sexual Harassment

The Goal was the slowest burn of the series, which I really loved. It was well paced and allowed for some amazing character development. It also gave a different perspective on the events from The Score, which was interesting to read.
Sabrina was independent and stubborn which contrasted against Tucker’s easygoing and friendly manner well. I loved how much of a gentleman cinnamon roll Tucker was while also being surprisingly dirty.
Surprise pregnancy gets a bad rap, but The Goal handled the trope so well. So if you’re looking for a book to change your mind on the trope, this one might just be it.

John tucker is literally the sweetest guy ever. He literally drops anything and everything to be with Sabrina and his daughter Jamie. Tucker is most mature one out of the group. I already knew that going into the book. But the way he handled Sabrina’s pregnancy, birth and now being a Dad. Tucker was so patient with Sabrina. I mean he waited the whole book for her to say I love you. And he always said things are on her terms, because he knew she would dart for hills if she wasn’t ready. Again maturity level of this guy! And can we talk about his southern manners. Hello?!?! Literally would never let her open a door. Also the “Yes ma’am” and the “darlin’”. Oh my the southern manners. AHH! John Tucker is literally the definition of Accidental Pregnancy Trope done well! I loved Sabrina! I adored her hard work, her persistence and her sass. Sabrina and Tucker make amazing parents, I loved seeing them handle parenthood for a couple months. I feel most books end when they have the baby. But I liked seeing them grow and manage parenthood. I honestly think it brought them closer together. I know that sounds super cliche, but of well. Tucker was what Sabrina needed in her life, someone to take care of her, love her, be patient, encourage her. And Sabrina was what Tucker needed. Someone he could take care of, cook for, love, and be a southern man that his mama taught him how to be! Ugh, they literally are perfect together! Sabrina and Tucker are my second favorite Off Campus Series couple! After Grace and Logan!

Side Note: I also enjoyed the cameos of the other Characters. I loved seeing Logan and Grace! Plus Fitzy was in this book more, I LOVE him. I can’t wait to read his book.
