Reminded me of how much I love this world! I was on the fence in regards to reading The Stolen Heir, but not anymore.
This story was filled with so much heart and filled me with so much joy. It was a quick and relaxing read that gave more information on Carden and his childhood. It was beautifully told. I highly recommend reading this if you have read The Cruel Prince series.

Oh this was a short but delightful little read. Seeing things from Cardan's perspective was a nice treat, and I am all here for the adorable marital bliss that the two of them so clearly share. Such a perfect, wicked little story.

honestly over 4.5 on a good day, it was short but sweet and provided an interesting perspective of things from cardan's view. the story thing was so cute and the illustrations too. i'm really happy to have enjoyed this so much after finding the queen of nothing to be a massive disappointment. a cute wrap up to the series as well
