This is the cute angsty sports comic we all need! I adored the tension, diversity, queerness, and art style. Nicholas Cox is the relatable messy overthinker protag that we deserve. <3

This series really charmed me! I'd be remiss not to mention that Johanna's art brought Fence to life, and its manga-inspired graphics were the right move. Loved the references to [b:Ouran High School Host Club|1087204|Ouran High School Host Club, Vol. 1 (Ouran High School Host Club, #1)|Bisco Hatori|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388328993l/1087204._SY75_.jpg|2192688] and I'm excited to read Fence's inspiration [b:Haikyū!!|27406716|Haikyu!!, Vol. 1|Haruichi Furudate|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1455469224l/27406716._SX50_.jpg|28158779] to catch some more!

Man, if there's one thing Pacat excels at, it's an electric rivalmance. This is very different from the one in [b:Captive Prince|59703216|Captive Prince (Captive Prince, #1)|C.S. I hear this is true for [b:Dark Rise|55424891|Dark Rise (Dark Rise, #1)|C.S. A little bit confused as to why she didn't author [b:Striking Distance|50497281|Striking Distance (Fence, #1)|Sarah Rees Brennan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1580771196l/50497281._SX50_.jpg|71767989], but Rees Brennan is supposedly an ace writer, so it must've been left in good hands.

This is fun, if pretty light. I used to fence so I enjoy that part of it, but it's mostly about the drama of the main characters and the rivalry/slow romance. A nice bite-sized snack, though.

Primera vez leyendo a Pacat y en una historia gráfica, estoy satisfecha, la trama te atrapa de una.
