I really enjoyed the kind of detective work done in this book - very Sherlock and Poirot like. I also found his dislike to working in the Caribbean to be pretty funny. I would read more in this series!

I’ve been really enjoying watching all 9 seasons of Death in Paradise so bought the books. I really like that they maintain the same characters from the original season but are totally new stories. Richard is as uptight (if not more so) in the books as on the screen but you get more insight into his character from the books.
Each of the books can be read on their own so you don’t need to have watched any of the programmes to enjoy them.
