Story of couple who lost everything and decided to walk around the southwest coastal path. Husband was dying of CBD. Fairly interesting.

It in many places beautifully written, and an inspiring story of sadness, resilience, beauty and hope that works very well... I just found it a bit too slow, and actually very repetitive. A lovely tale, but didn't quite work as a long form book for me.

This was really a terrible time to read this book, in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.
But it was a sweet tale of seemingly hapless Brits finding their way together after becoming homeless. I guess I thought this was going to be uplifting, about resiliency, and it WAS, in a way, but also not really all that reassuring, as it was only through good fortune that they were able to change their circumstances.
She kept saying she was 50, and people kept describing them as old, and that was a real disconnect--50 shouldn't be so old! I googled and saw a photo of the author and she doesn't even look all that old.
