The reread is complete.  These books were even better when reading them as an adult.  Deathly Hallows is an amazing ending to this series, full of plot twists and emotional moments and action.
There are parts of this book I will never recover from.  So many good characters died (Hedwig, Mad-Eye, Fred, Lupin, Tonks, Snape, etc.)  The chapter with Snape's memories is especially heartbreaking.

My final ranking for this series is as follows:
7. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
2. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I finished this 3 months ago and I still think about it!!!

After this series nothing has been hitting quite the same, so now I’m suffering from a major post-Harry Potter reading slump. These books are masterpieces. They truly are!

Reread (relisten) value is through the roof with this series as well!! Stephen Fry is an absolute legend - his narrations are some of the best out there

Brilliant! Brilliant I say!!!
My favorite book of the series! So many feels and I loved the plot kept moving, I think that’s my biggest applause for this installment. There’s less of the “fluff” and “side quests” and more of the actual purpose of this series and obviously the resolution.

I will continue to say this is one of the few movie adaptations that I absolutely love more than the books but they really did use the books as a blueprint and stayed pretty true to the foundation within these pages!  And really brought the book to life on the big screen.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a masterful culmination of the beloved series. Even on a second read, the emotions it stirs remain just as powerful. The story is intense, filled with the ultimate battles of good versus evil, and the stakes have never been higher.

What stands out is the depth of the characters’ journeys. Harry, Hermione, and Ron face their most formidable challenges, growing in courage and wisdom. The revelation of Snape’s love for Lily is a heart-wrenching moment, adding layers to his character and sparking tears even on a repeat read.

Rowling’s storytelling is at its peak, blending action, mystery, and profound themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption. The intricate plot twists keep readers on the edge of their seats, while the emotional moments resonate deeply.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is not just a fantasy adventure; it's a touching exploration of loyalty, bravery, and the enduring power of love. This book remains a timeless favorite that continues to captivate and move readers.
