I get why people say this is the best Agata Christie book. It was so clever! Only until the last couple of pages did I deduce who it might be.

Foi a minha primeira experiência com a autora, mas já vira parte da série baseada nos livros.
A maior parte do livro foi um pouco monótona com pouca exploração das personagens para além do caso em si. A escrita é fluída o suficiente para uma leitura fácil e rápida.
O ponto alto foi sem dúvida a revelação final, adoro quando o último capítulo dá uma explicação à forma de ser de um livro e me causa arrepios que me faz querer reler tudo de novo para apanhar as pistas que não apanhei!

This book made great use of the unreliable narrator. Although some parts were slower than others, I was kept on my toes guessing who the killer was and that ending... totally never saw that coming.

I've known about this book for years, but I have finally read it.  Even though I knew the ending, it was wonderful to see it all play out.  The dedication is particularly remarkable, especially after you've finished the book.
