I didn’t give two shits about this couple so imagine my surprise when I absolutely loved everything about this book and stayed up all night to read it. Two 5 star books in a row? I don’t even recognize myself

i’m glad we finally got to their story. i understand the ordering but i do kind of hate that we had to wait until book 4 to have all Dash questions answered, but i do like how they were all there and sprinkled in.

i also liked the action. no spoilers , but i was literally saying “no oh my god no!” out loud while reading.

the ending leaving off on a cliffhanger-ish moment is great but frustrating!

minor gripe: you can’t tattoo one-handed!!! i work in the tattoo industry so that part was just aggravating to me instead of being sexy haha.

This series unfortunately has me in a chokehold. I love Lex so much and was so excited to get to his story. He’s a sweet boy. Ren pissed me the hell off but I know he was supposed to. I hate the cheating trope but this one was a bit more understandable than most.. lol. I can’t wait to see what crazy shit happens in the next book and how this series ends up. I hope they all get off that damn island and live in a happy gay paradise in Mexico.

This is definitely my favorite in the series so far, because one, I think the story and the plot comes full circle here and we finally get full clarity on everything we've been wondering and two, I love Ren and Luth soooo much! 
Their story was so much more wholesome and adorable and totally not the direction I was expecting it to go but I loved it. Spice was fantastic, as always. 
I love that the plot does move on to things after Dash's escape, which makes me very excited for the finale.

Small little nitpicky things I was bothered by, otherwise I would have rated this even higher but overall,  a fantastic time!

This was my favorite Alabaster Pen story by far. I just love Lex and Ren. The time jumps were fun and the story was exciting. Things are escalating at the prison and I can't wait to see what happens to the rest of our friends. 3/5 spice levels.
