Say what criticism you want about the books by Caroline and Susanne but I honestly loved all the books in the Solaria universe. The darkmore penitentiary ones were my least favorite, but they’re still ridiculous and entertaining and continue on and give us endings for some of the best side characters from Zodiac Academy. No literally masterpiece but certainly fun.

I came into this right after Ruthless Boys and Zodiac Academy. I’ve spent the last 2 months fully in this world and don’t know what to do with myself now. I couldn’t begin to separate where one ended and the next began because it was a marathon read done in about a week. These are much shorter than the other books; but the story is fun. Never thought I’d like a prison break theme but here we are. These are fun and sexy and had me realizing the authors have got to be high to write a few of their characters but I am here for it. All in all, including the other series, it’s a 20+ book commitment but anyone feeling up for it should try - it’s a fun escape into another world. You will feel stress. Your emotions will be toyed with. But the authors promise a HEA and give you good, wrapped up endings.
