This sucked me in and I had to keep reading to find out what was happening. So many twists and turns. The trauma to the women is moderately described. That to the children is more just assumed. I’m still not sure I know totally what all happened, so many twists and turns and mind boggling things. Very entertaining and interesting.

TW: all the bad stuff against women and children, -abduction, rape, murder

Promising start, interesting enough that I kept reading, but ending/reveal fell flat. Gratuitous gory details.

I was excited to see a highly praised horror book from a German author (and disappointed that the German version isn't available on Kindle yet).

keeps u on your toes and wanting more for sure! i love a good multi-perspective book, and this thriller will give u that. definitely dark and gruesome content, but a great read. don’t read before bed tho <3
