A really lovely view into the lives of Iranian women. Older women at that. It was a really cool humanizing glimpse into culture. And shows how they were squished by patriarchy, their stories from when they were young and tried harder to conform and eventually now, being old and kinda not giving a F about the standard anymore b/c in some ways their “so old” that they no longer apply.

The perfect way to tell these women's stories. I can't recommend this enough.

I loved this! It really was like listening to your aunties and cousins sit down for a chat, in the best way.
