What an interesting approach to such a big historic event. The format of a graphic novel is perfect for the book because it allows us to see multiple perspectives without too much whiplash and also allows us to be inside Laika's world without being inside her head. Her emotions came across so beautifully in the art. And the artwork as a whole was beautiful from the skill to the color pallets.Â
Overall, very emotional but helpfully informative and a good comment on our human-centered world.Â
