It’s funny cause it’s beat for beat of the movie…which is my favorite movie by studio Ghibli but I didn’t care for the writing of the book lol

An absolutely lovely and heartwarming story. I recommend it to anyone who's interested in reading a light hearted yet emotional book.

I was definitely more engaged in the first half/two-thirds or so of the book. I'm glad Anna got what she was looking for, but I kind of lost some interest when the Lindsays took on as big of a role as they did.

A beautiful coming-of-age tale for the girls looking for a place to fit in and their place in the world. Beautiful, sad, and ultimately kind.
